The frozen continent

During March & April 2024 I was able to take part in a trip of a lifetime to Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. For me, this was the ultimate wildlife adventure.

We all know the risks associated with the current climate challenges we all face! Seeing the fragile continent and its inhabitants is something you can never prepare yourself for.

When you can hear the sound of Humpback Whales echoing around some of the bays it is very haunting, but also a reassuring sound to know the population is growing.

When you come face to face with a leopard seal and it looks back with an almost cheeky grin, is inspiring.

The funny chinstrap's are so curious, Emperor's with their beauty will captivate you, Rockhoppers just bouncing their way around with their funky hairstyles and the cheeky Gentoo's.

Following this trip and with a realization that more needs to be done, I joined the Antarctica Ambassadors program. This is program of many people who have a passion for promoting the conservation and protection for Antarctica and through my images I will do everything I can to help.
